Leadership Conference Call

The 2nd Thief Leadership team conducted a conference call to discuss initiatives and future events. Leveraging technology to pray and discuss the ministry as a whole, allowed us to see each other and discuss several points such as Care Packages for Law Enforcement, Future National Events, the Rough Riders (4x4) ministry, and other administrative details.

New East Region Director

As of last weekend it is official that 2nd Thief Riders has a new East Region Director. This decision came as Spider stepped down to focus on his local chapter. Ed was instrumental in drafting the latest By-Laws and continues to serve as the Chapter Coordinator for Pittsburgh. The new Director is John "Happy" Labriola. This offer was covered in prayer and inspired by the Holy Spirit. He prayerfully considered the offer and accepted to provide guidance and direction for the East Region Chapters. His first concern was ensuring that the chapters have a voice within the leadership of 2nd Thief. He was instrumental in the 2nd Thief Gathering at Gettysburg, PA 2022 and then the Gathering in Tennessee 2023. Please keep him and his family in your prayers as he chooses to serve the 2nd Thief Ministries community.  
2nd Thief Riders & Rough Riders Roll Call

A request for contact information was sent out to all of the chapter coordinators. This information will help us update our contact roster. This is the perfect opportunity to see who is still in the ministry and flying their colors. The story of the 2nd Thief on the cross next to Jesus resonates with people. I see and hear the story more often than ever. We need to continue to gather, encourage one another, and ride the Highways and Biways sharing the good news. Please help us reestablish our network, and share your events in your area with brothers and sisters from other chapters.

May the Love of Jesus prepare you for the work ahead, and may the Holy Spirit fill you and guide your steps and conversations.

House of the Carpenter Ride

The House of the Carpenter is a non-profit organization with Ministries of Mercy, Transformation and Spiritual Formation.





Meet at 2200 South Front Street, Wheeling, WV
(Right next to the old suspension on Wheeling Island)
Meet up at 0900(AM)
Kick Stands up at 1100(AM)
120-mile ride going up Route 7 to 800 to Route 40 return to the HOC.
Stop for fuel in Woodsfield on 800
$25 per rider/ $10 per passenger
All Funds go to the House of the Carpenter

May not be two wheels or a 4x4, but the snowmobile does have some rubber and an engine =).


This past week I was able to go out with some veterans out in Colorado. I would wear my 2nd Thief hoodie periodically and never said anything about it. Out on the side of a cliff, after a snow march... one of the guys walked over and inquired about the significance of the 2nd Thief embroidery. I gave him the simplicity of it in regards to salvation. I looked at his face, and he was speechless. Two seconds later, he said he never thought about salvation in Christ in that manner.

I'm Thankful that Ministry has given me the ability and courage to open my mouth and give words of Truth and Love in Christ.

Welcome to 2nd Thief 2.0!

     We have exciting news! We now have TWO branches of 2nd Thief Ministries.  The 2nd Thief Riders and the 2nd Thief Rough Riders!  The focus of the NEW Branch will be the same;  following Jesus and making disciples.  The Rough Riders will use 4x4 vehicles as the tool.  Think off-road trips, camping, s'mores around a campfire and wives and kids, etc.  We'll have a similar shield but with a jeep-like silhouette with Rough Riders at the bottom.  Shepard has the lead on the Branch's development, with Ministry leadership's support.
