"Defender Outreach" is 2nd Thief's Ministry program to senior and needy children. We recognize that the Father's heart is to defend the weak and defenseless. The Scriptures say: "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." James 1:27 The Lord's command to 2nd Thief is to go after the "one lost sheep". And though our message is not religion, we recognize that the Word is clear that "pure religion" is one of action to assist others and not of ourselves. We are to emulate our Lord and Savior who gave of Himself (and ultimately His life) so that man may be saved. |
