According to 2nd Thief, What must I do to be saved?
We at 2nd Thief rely on the Scriptures to tell us what we must do to be saved. The Word says: "But as many as received Him (Jesus), to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name" (John 1:12). To receive Jesus is to believe in His name. To believe in His name is to believe in God. The Apostle Paul tells us in his letter to the Romans: 8 "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." Romans 10:8-11 It is absolutely clear that "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13). All that you need to do is to call out to Jesus as did the 2nd thief to be saved!

Is 2nd Thief a Christian Motorcycle Club?
First and foremost, 2nd Thief is an evangelistic Ministry that preaches and teaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ and in particular, the Message of the 2nd Thief. 2nd Thief, however, is home of the 2nd Thief Riders, which is 2nd Thief's motorcycle outreach Ministry.
2nd Thief Riders was formed out of Preacher Crane's passion for the Lord and his enjoyment of the sport of motorcycling. While Preacher Crane appreciates the liberty and happiness that riding can bring, he knows it is only temporary, lasting only until the ride ends. After that it is a fond memory, not something you continue to live out. Using this truth as a springboard, he helps guide fellow riders through the Scriptures to discover a genuine freedom and joy that is eternal, everlasting.
The 2nd Thief Riders know that true freedom and joy come only from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

What kind of music does the band play?
It really depends upon the venue. For a live music venue or outreach event we may play mainly a classic rock and blues format while for a youth or adult worship setting we may draw upon contemporary Christian rock and traditional Gospel music.
Through various musical formats we give honor to our heavenly Father and come together to communicate the hope and promise found in Jesus Christ. The marketplace is filled with plenty of great music from classic rock to contemporary Christian music that points to the need for a Savior and the love that only He can bring.
